POP-UP and Enghaveparken are shortlisted for this year’s Danish Design Award. The prize is awarded by Danish Design Center and Design denmark by the end of May.
POP-UP is shortlisted in the category ‘Utopia’. POP-up is a combined solution that solves three urban challenges at the same time: a lack of green spaces, a lack of parking spots, and an increased need to handle extreme rain. Read more about the project here.
Enghaveparken, which recently won ‘Arne of the Year’ given by the Akademisk Arkitektforening, is shortlisted in the category ‘Liveable Cities’. With the new Enghaveparken, we have cloudburst-proofed a large part of Vesterbro by putting water into circuits using it to water the plants and trees in the park and for recreational purposes. All that with respect for the cultural history and original design of the park. Read more about the project here.
We appreciate the recognition from Danish Design Award and cross our fingers for the awards ceremony!
