THIRD NATUREs Climate Tile has just won a much-coveted place in the Climate-KIC accelerator program! The great interest and support to the project continues and will this time contribute to getting the Climate Tile all the way out in our streets and alleys.
The program is an EU-based entrepreneurial program that provides support to the most promising entrepreneurs, addressing climate change and the associated challenges facing our cities.
FROM INNOVATION TO MARKET
With a spot in the program THIRD NATURE will gain access to a large network and expert knowledge through Climate-KIC’s 28 European offices and financial support of up to 95,000 Euro. The purpose is to speed up the journey to the market and give the Climate Tile a greater impact globally.
“Being selected for the Climate-KIC program is a great honor and confirms that the Climate Tile has great potential globally. We look forward to the ongoing work and see where Climate KIC’s knowledge, resources, tools and guidance can take us.” Jeppe Ecklon, Head of Production, THIRD NATURE.
The funds and support provided with the program will be used to develop the business and investor perspectives. Those activities fall as the next natural step on the road towards getting the Climate Tile out in the world. The Climate Tile IVS initiative has just been founded, from where THIRD NATURE will drive all Climate Tile activities going forward.
CLEANTECH MATCHMAKING
To kick start the acceleration program Flemming Rafn Thomsen, partner-in-charge for the Climate Tile, will attend a Cleantech Matchmaking bootcamp in Gothenburg on May 24th. Here big established companies such as Skanska, Ericsson, Telia, Fortum, Södra among others will try to sell themselves in hope to make a collaborative connection to the selected Climate-KIC start-ups. THIRD NATURE is listed as one of the “Top 10 hottest new Nordic cleantech startups” in relation to the program.
