Tredje Natur, Smith Innovation and Copenhagen Municipality is discussing climate adaptation. This will be at Tredje Natur September 16. From 17:00pm-19:00pm. We will end the debate with a little something for the stomach.
We will start with Climate director Lykke Leonardsen’ presentation “Problems becoming opportunities” in regards to how Copenhagen Municipality has turbocharged the climate adaptation initiative. 300 projects and 10 mia. Kr. will be invested over the next 20 years, but how do you come from a plan to implementation and how do you even work with strategically and politically with such a big decision?
Next up Partner in Smith Innovation, Mikkel A. Thomassen, will give an insight on how to organise the development process that connects the water and city with his presentation “floating and firm.” Taking ‘klimasping’ as a prerequisite with its development process’ Mikkel talks about working on joining climate adaptation solutions with commercial development.
At last Flemming Rafn Thomsen, Partner in Tredje Natur, will with his presentation “Empathic city” ask how the climate money can be used for green blue conversion for the city’s sensuous presence, different functions and create new knowledge and values? In regards to the architecture studios practice Flemming wants to show the coherence between the individual water catchments potential in the city’s large scale and the concrete climate solutions and components in eye height. Flemming will show material from Green Climate adaptation’, ‘Enghaveparken’ and ‘Climate Tile’ among others
