Med fokus på fremtidens bæredygtighed i byerne er vi inviteret til at tale for mere end 200 deltagere fra de nordiske lande i det internationale samarbejde Global Compact, der har til formål at forpligte virksomheder til at leve op til 10 universelt accepterede principper indenfor menneskerettigheder, anti-korruption og arbejdsmiljø.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UN Global Compact Office will host a session on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Morten Elkjær, Head of Department at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will give a presentation about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the negotiations about financing of development and climate. Focus will be on why this agenda is increasingly important for businesses. He will talk about corporate responsibility, innovative partnerships and the new export opportunities that lie with the SDGs.
Claus Stig Pedersen, Senior Director Novozymes, will give a presentation on how Novozymes has integrated the SDGs into their strategy.
The UN Global Compact Office will elaborate on their work with the SDGs. Moreover, how Global Compact has contributed to the negotiations about the new goals.The UN Global Compact Nordic Network meeting takes place from 4 May 10am – 12pm on 5 May 2015 at the Confederation of Danish Industry in Copenhagen. The topic of the Nordic Network Meeting is the Future of Sustainability. The keynote speeches, workshops and plenary sessions have all been chosen to address the Future of Sustainability from different perspectives.
